Kowloon City Ferry Pier

The Kowloon City Ferry Pier ceased its operations and is a Grade II historical building now.

Before the Cross Harbour Tunnel was constructed, many Hong Kong drivers used the Kowloon City Ferry Pier . It was built in 1965, providing service back and forth to North Point. Since the harbour tunnel and the cross-harbour railway developed, the number of people using this ferry has declined. In 1998, the Kowloon City Car Ferry Pier ceased its operations. The Pier witnessed the transportation development of Hong Kong and East Kowloon in the late 20th century. The pier was officially listed as a Grade II historical building in 2014.
