Locally known as “Little Thailand”, Kowloon City boasts an array of shops owned and run by Thai. Many Thai who live in the area are already the second and third generation of immigrants. Located on South Wall Road, Lemon Shop is a Thai-owned grocery store founded in 2002. According to the shop assistant, it is not exactly the oldest Thai shop in the area, but is definitely among the first of its kind to settle in the “Little Thailand”. It offers a selection of Thai-imported goods, from daily necessities, snacks, drinks to fresh vegetables. The reasonable pricing is critically acclaimed by the local residents.
