Goteborg Restaurant

It is one of iconic budget eateries in Hong Kong. With its neon signs, dim lighting, leather booths, Western-style arches, and waiters dressed in black shirts and trousers, the restaurant has maintained its nostalgic ambiance for three decades.

In the 1970s, during Hong Kong’s economic boom, businesses in the To Kwa Wan area flourished. For normal resident in this district, dining in a foreign-style represented a luxurious experience.

Goteborg Restaurant, located on Ma Tau Wai Road, once had three branches. The restaurant has cultivated a loyal customer base over the years. Even local students enjoy dining here. If you’re on a tight budget but wish to experience the old time, Gordon’s Restaurant would be a great choice.
