I believed I was the last generation of residents who lived in Kowloon Walled City. I was 4 or 5 and I still remembered the green wall next to my bed where my mum always stuck my favourite paintings on it.
Now, when I am looking at the picture, I don’t think it is good looking although it used to be one of the favourite parts of my family. By looking at the paintings all over the wall, I realise my parents had given me the best childhood and my sister no matter how hard the livelihood was when I was young.
I do admire my parents for raising me and my sister well under such an environment.
