Founded in the 1970s, Chong Fat Chiu Chow Restaurant is a name everyone in Kowloon City knows. Master stock and cold dishes are the signature menu in Teochew cuisine. In Chong Fat, there is a food stand lined with a mouthwatering selection of cold dishes, such as pork knuckle jelly, sliced goose, pickles and fried fish. The cuisine satisfies even the most discerning taste buds, including Chua Lam, the famous food reviewer who is one of the frequent patrons. He even acclaimed, “it is the delicacy that only Chong Fat can offer”.
There is no table menu. Appetisers will be served soon after seated. You can either order from the menu stuck on the wall or choose your own favourite directly from the food stand.
