To get to Kowloon City, in addition to travelling by bus, or even try taking the MTR in the future, you can also go by ferry! Kowloon City Ferry Pier provides service back and forth to North Point every 30 minutes. The Pier is rated as a Grade II historic building in Hong Kong in 2014.
Built in 1956, it was the first ferry pier in Hong Kong since the Second World War. The Pier witnessed the transportation development of Hong Kong and East Kowloon in the late 20th century. Since the harbour tunnel and the MTR developed, the Pier is no longer as busy as before, perfect for those who like to enjoy the coastal quietly.
