Running for more than 50 years, Po Sei Cha Chaan Teng is a perfect spot for those who look for an old Hong-Kong-style dining experience. It offers a dazzling selection of local delicacies as shown on the handwritten menu posted on the storefront. It also boasts its own bakery corner selling freshly baked egg tarts and pineapple buns. The old-fashioned booth seating, ceramic blue-and-white mosaic tile flooring, narrow staircase to the upper floor, dumbwaiter in service, the retro settings that have stopped in time make it an ideal shooting location for films. Though many of the neighbouring shops have changed, Po Sei manages to serve a consistently high level of food quality and in good portions. Come enjoy a set of regular meal over a cup of milk tea like the locals do!
