Kun Yam Street is a well-known place for buying incense and offerings. Amidst these shops, there is a sauce factory selling sweet vinegar: Ming Tak. With a history of 61 years, Ming Tak initially opened in Happy Valley, but later the building was demolished. So, they moved to the street market around Bulkeley Street. After more than a decade, due to another demolition, they relocated to the current shop on Kun Yam Street. Mr. Au, the owner of Ming Tak, has a unique secret recipe for sweet vinegar, using genuine ingredients. He even prepares ginger vinegar for customers. Patrons come from all over Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories.
